Q: Are there any guidelines for submissions?

A: Yes. You can submit anything that has to do with Greece or Greek people, but I have the right to delete anything I see unfit. Please make it appropriate for people of all ages. If you’re submitting something for “You know you’re Greek when…” please make sure it’s mostly in English - the majority of my followers are Greek Americans who speak mostly English and not Greek. Also, please don’t try to make your own picture and send it in; just send me what you would like me to write and I will turn it into the pictures that you see published.

Q: Are you Greek?

A: Yes, but I was not born there. However, I descend from 100% Greek people and thus consider myself 100% Greek.

Q: Where do you live?

A: Chicago, Illinois.

Q: Where in Greece are you from?

A: My grandparents are from Sparta and Kalamata, but if you go way back, my ancestors are from Crete. However, when I go to Greece, I stay mostly in Glyfada.

Q: Will you post more pictures of _______?

A: Yes, as long as it has something to do with Greece. I will add it to the queue, but don’t expect it to be posted right away.

Q: How do I submit my idea for “You know you’re Greek when…”?

A: Just write what you’d like me to publish and send it to me through my Ask Box or Submit Box. I’ll turn it into the pictures you see me publish.

Q: What am I allowed to submit?

A: ANYTHING that has to do with Greeks or Greek people or Greece. It could be a picture, a story, a song, ANYTHING.

Q: Do you speak Greek?

A: Some, but not fluently. I can read and write some, also.
